The High Court in Masaka has declined to  grant bail to  the ailing  Opposition MPs Kawempe North MP Muhammad Ssegirinya and Makindye West Legislator Allan Ssewanyana  on grounds that they can jeopardise investigations in their murder case.

Justice Lawrence Tweyanze ruled that the two legislators are likely to interfere with the ongoing investigations into their cases, after agreeing with prosecution.
