The Uganda Cubs (U-17) National Team head Coach Hamza Lutalo has named the final 25 man squad for the Total U-17 AFCON that will be played between 13th-31st March in Morocco. The Cubs were pooled in group A in the draws of the tourney held on Wednesday. They will face off with Morocco, Ivory Coast and Zambia The contingent will fly out today at 3pm aboard Ethiopian Airways. The Uganda U20 National Team is through to the semifinals at the ongoing Africa U20 Cup of Nations in Mauritania. The Hippos overcame Burkina Faso in the quarter finals on Thursday on kicks from the penalty mark after normal time had ended in a barren stalemate. A closely contested encounter saw no goals produced between the two sides both in normal time of 90 minutes and 30minutes of extra time. The two sets of players were matched pound for pound befor the match was decided on penalties. The result means that the youngsters are edging closer to the USD 200,000 (UGX740M) winning cash prize promised by FUFA if they win the tournament. Tiger Woods was hospitalised with “multiple leg injuries” after being involved in a serious car crash in California. Fire fighters had to free the golf superstar from his Genesis GV80 SUV using pry tools and an axe shortly after 7am on Tuesday in Rancho Palos Verdes, near Los Angeles.
