Prophet Edd Branson has denied allegations circulating online claiming that he is dating Ugandan socialite, Zari Hassan popularly known as Zari the Bosslady.
This comes after numerous pictures of him and Diamond Platnumz’ ex-wife surfaced on social media. In one of the pictures, Zari and Prophet Edd Branson can be seen together in a room with a group of men wearing white ‘kanzus’ which are usually won by Ugandan men during a traditional wedding.
Addressing the rumours, Prophet Edd Branson said they were working on a project that not only involved him and Zari but also a number of other artists. He went on to caution bloggers to consider the repercussions of spreading lies on social media.
“In one way it can be so funny that you laugh things like these off but on the real when you spread stories, consider the repercussions. This is only but part of a much greater project which involves International Artists From Zimbabwe and Beyond. This Work has been in the works involving the likes of @djtowerslivinglegend

This has been a project that has been in the pipeline for over 1 year and has been going on well with music video shoots currently being shot on locations all over and world.This is no way issued to satisfy the cravings of opportunist ravens whose mission is to find comfort in destructive rhetoric but to give a correct statement that also exonerates the parties involved and those who we will work with in future,” he wrote.
Zari also took to social media to set the record straight. In a short video clip, Zari revealed that the pictures were for an upcoming gospel track. She said;
“Hie family there are a couple of pictures circulating on the internet, kindly ignore that. That’s from an upcoming powerful glorious gospel music video that l was privileged to be part of, invited by my friend. So kindly ignore all that.”
