Turns out he is though as it has been discovered, courtesy of French outlet Rockstar Mag, that he registered a new company here in the UK only last week. According to a listing at Companies House (the UK’s registrar of companies), a company called Absurd Ventures in Gaming was incorporated on June 23. Call Of Duty 2021 is already on Battle.net – looks like it’s WW2 based

Entertainment, GAMING, TEENAGERS, Youth
Multiple references to Call Of Duty 2021 have been discovered on Battle.net, including a logo with a WW2 style design. Even before the pandemic it was becoming difficult to predict when a new Call Of Duty would be unveiled, as Activision slowly moved away from their traditional early summer reveals. There’s still no clue as to when they might announce this year’s game but as usual details of it have leaked out early, which suggest it’s called Call Of Duty: Vanguard and is set during the Second World War. This new leak from Battle.net doesn’t confirm that definitively but it does seem to add to the weight of circumstantial evidence, with a logo for something called Slipstream that, arguably, seems to have a WW2 aesthetic. Slipstream seems to be the current codename of the g...

The Best Video Games of 2021 … So Far

Entertainment, GAMING, TEENAGERS, Youth
That many are still unable to get their hands on a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X attests to the fact that the ninth generation of consoles is very much in full swing. And the improvements in technology that are accelerating—better framerates, graphics, and effects—have well served gaming experiences that wouldn’t have been possible even a few years ago. That’s evident in everything from Hitman 3 surpassing its predecessors in nailing the feeling of the living sandbox to Returnal using the haptic DualSense controller to make you feel as if you’re actually holding alien weapons. It’s even in the way that Before Your Eyes eerily uses a webcam to track your eyes and tell its story about a soul’s journey into the afterlife. But when it comes to gaming, technology only ever tells half t...

Battlefield 2042 to support Nvidia DLSS and Reflex

Entertainment, GAMING, TEENAGERS, Youth
Battlefield is keeping its partnership with Nvidia. EA and Nvidia have announced that Geforce will be the official GPU partner for DICE’s upcoming Battlefield 2042. This partnership means the multiplayer shooter will make use of some of Nvidia’s most advanced features. Chief among those, of course, is DLSS, the company’s renowned AI-powered upscaling technology, which everyone’s been raving about for years. DLSS should make running the game at high framerates very manageable, particularly considering Battlefield 2042’s much bigger scale compared to past iterations. Battlefield 2042 will also make use of Nvidia’s Reflex, the low-latency mode that optimises the rendering pipeline to create the lowest input lag. Reflex has been adopted by a number of competitive games, incl...

"It sucks that World of Warcraft's next big update feels so far off," our resident Warcrafter said shortly after it was revealed in February. But it's not so far off now: Blizzard announced today that Chains of Domination will go live on June 29. Chains of Domination will open up a new subzone in The Maw called Korthia, City of Secrets, and thanks to an invasion by the four Covenants, players will be able to use their mounts and (somehow) disable the Eye of the Jailer, granting them more time exploring the zone each day. There will be new story quests and a Covenant campaign to take on, a new eight-boss mega-dungeon, and a new raid, The Sanctum of Domination, with ten bosses including...
