Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja flags off food relief items to Karamoja donated  by two Chinese Companies- China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) and China Fu Qing

Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja on Friday morning flagged off food relief items to Karamoja as one of the urgent interventions to bring to an end the deaths rocking the sub-region attributed to starvation. These items were donated  by two Chinese Companies:

 China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) and China Fu Qing at a function that took place at the Office of the Prime Minister.

The Chinese handed over handover 20 metric tonnes of maize flour and beans as well as salt and cooking oil, meant for elderly people in Karamoja who are facing starvation, to the Prime Minister Rt Hon Robinah Nabbanja.

Rt Hon Nabbanja thanked the Chinese friends for the good Spirit of caring to help the situation in Karamoja.
