Egypt assistant coach Diaa Al-Sayed has asked the organizers of the 33rd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations AFCON to shift the final to Monday.
The Pharaohs against all odds defeated Cameroon 3-1 in penalty shootout at the Olembe Stadium in Yaounde.
Al-Sayed spoke on behalf of Carlos Queiroz who was shown a red card during the game.

“I want to state to all CAF authorities that Senegal have one extra day to train and therefore maybe we should play the final on Monday.
Egypt won 3-1 in a shoot-out after a goalless 120 minutes in Yaounde, while Senegal overcame Burkina Faso 3-1 in normal time a day earlier.
The Pharaohs had defeated Ivory Coast on penalty shootout after extra time in the Round of 16 before also defeating Morocco 2-1 in extra time in the quarterfinals.
