Manchester City are showing interest in Chelsea goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli as they look to fill the vacant third-choice spot following the departure of long-serving veteran Scott Carson, according to The Athletic.

City boss Pep Guardiola is seeking an experienced and reliable option to provide depth behind Ederson and Stefan Ortega, and Bettinelli has emerged as a potential candidate.

Marcus Bettinelli, 33, has made just one appearance since joining Chelsea in 2021 — a 5–1 FA Cup win over Chesterfield.

A former Fulham regular, Bettinelli has one year left on his deal at Stamford Bridge.
