In a strategic move to democratize access to premium television content, MultiChoice Uganda has unveiled a new offering dubbed ‘Ka Weekie.’ This initiative is tailored to accommodate the entertainment needs of low-income earners by providing them with affordable, short-term subscription options for both DStv and GOtv services.​

‘Ka Weekie’ allows subscribers to access their favorite channels for a week at a fraction of the monthly subscription cost. This pay-as-you-go model is designed to offer flexibility and affordability, ensuring that a broader segment of the Ugandan population can enjoy quality entertainment without the burden of long-term financial commitments.​

The initiative aligns with MultiChoice Uganda’s ongoing efforts to make premium content more accessible. Previously, the company launched the Step-Up campaign, enabling customers to upgrade to higher packages at no additional cost, thereby enhancing their viewing experience without extra financial strain .​
