Leader of Opposition in Uganda’s Parliament, Joel Ssenyonyi, alongside his shadow cabinet and other opposition MPs, have been blocked from accessing the construction site of Lubowa Specialised Hospital, where they had gone for an oversight visit.
The multibillion hospital project has been a subject of public debate since June 2019 when it was handed over to Italian investor, Enrica Pinetti’s firmian investor.
