She was a political activist and was among the first Ugandans to form a pressure group called Lira Boys. She conquered Lango and anchored multi-party politics in Lango.
As we mourn and celebrate Atat, our message to Uganda and the current regime is a call for respect towards her by upholding Human Rights.
The late was an incorruptible figure and the message we have for those who dip their hands in public coffers is that your time is almost up. She stood for leadership and was a unifying figure.
