There was no winner between DR Congo and Ivory Coast in CHAN 2022 Group B’s first game of the matchday 2 as both teams left 19 May 1956 Stadium on a goalless draw.
Defeated by Senegal (0-1) on the first day, Côte d’Ivoire had to recover on Wednesday against the Democratic Republic of Congo to hope to maintain their chances of qualification.
Despite a slight domination and several opportunities, the men of Soualiho Haidara, who pushed a lot even to 10 against 11 after the expulsion of Mohamed Zougrana (87th), were too imprecise to beat Baggio Siadi.
