A Charity Organisation in Mityana under the name Mercy for Youth and Women Empowerment has benefited from the generous arm of FIFA as they received a donation of 100 balls and 100 T-shirts from the world soccer governing body.
The donation is a result of a Samaritan Ms. Luise Ammerschuber of Yes-Impact Sisters who found a group of youths playing football in Mityana but with limited equipment under the charity organization. She approached FIFA and made a request for any form of equipment through Head of FIFA Development Programmes-Africa-Mr. Solomon Mudege who responded positively with the donation.
FIFA delivered the donation through FUFA which was handed over today.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) Mr. Edgar Watson handed over the donation of 100 footballs, 100 T-shirts, 100 yellow cards and 100 red cards to the Executive Director of Mercy for Youth and Women Empowerment Mr. Kagalula Dabrine Mathew on Friday morning at a brief ceremony held at FUFA Headquarters in Mengo.
