Today KCCA celebrates the groundbreaking for the construction for the KCCA Traffic Control Centre that will be built at City Hall in Kampala.

The Contractor Konoike Construction will build the traffic control center and upgrade 27 junctions in the City to Traffic Signal junctions.

H.E. the Japanese Ambassador to Uganda was the chief guest and he congratulated all teams that had led to this great day where Uganda is set to be the showpiece for high quality traffic signal infrastructure and operations in the region. The project is a gift frim the Japanese government and is expected to be completed in 18 month onlh. The ceremony was attended by His Worship the Lord Mayor, the KCCA Executive Director, the Under secretary Ministry of Kampala and other KCCA leaders.
