Kampala, Uganda: Simba Automotives Ltd Uganda is a Ugandan based Automotive Manufacturing Company dealing in High performance & fuel efficient Motorbikes In Kampala.

The company’s major aim in Uganda is to revolutionize people’s perception towards motorbikes to help them get the real value of purchasing and using them.
Most Ugandans were used of two wheel bikes but the company innovated a three wheel (tricycle)of which both are economically affordable and can be used to increase their incomes by transacting business with them.
A two wheel cycle is widely known for boda boda business among the youths and tricycle for carriage and delivery of goods/commodities for clients.

In an exclusive interview with Martin Barigye, the Regional Manager Uganda for Simba Automotives LTD Uganda at headquarters in Kamwokya, expressed that the company has highly invested in economically affordable motorbike having understood their earning levels.
In this he says they have established 70 branches countrywide in order make services easily accessed in addition to offering technical support, trained salesmen, mechanics then a warrant of one year of maintenance of their bikes.
“After sale services are provided to our clients and we teach them on how to use them. In this we do repairs for them, change parts and other services”. Martin mentioned.

He mentions that Simba Automotives has made partnership with different asset financing companies that offer loans and banks in order to help Ugandans acquire bikes at a relatively little money at hand.
“Mogo and Tugende are some of them then Centenary bank. Bikes can be acquired through Tugende and Mogo at 15% of the total price of the bike and 25% for banks. This will help Ugandans especially the youths drive their dreams as well as improving their livelihood”. He added.
He says, they have a well dedicated sales team to connect clients to these loan giving companies and banks.
Martin remarks that Uganda has a drastic growing numbers of the youths in the world of which all of them cannot be tapped into government employment arrangement therefore we get concerned to establish avenues from where they can fix themselves and earn a living , so Simba Automotives encourages the youths to get these bikes and do business.

At UGX1Million and UGX2.5M, one can get a two wheel bike and three wheel bikes respectively.
He informs that as a company, the negotiating partnership with Boda Associations around Kampala through (Memorandum of Understanding)to help them easily access loans from Asset financing companies and banks such that they can affordably acquire bikes to run their boda business.
Martin admits that Simba Automotives has helped communities around its operations Offices especially Ghetto groups of Kamwokya by giving them Tricycles at a relatively low prices as their Cooperate Social Responsibility to enable them transact businesses around their area and It has greatly improved their livelihood.

In his conclusive remarks, Barigye Martin in informs that Simba Automotives LTD Uganda is in high level plans of establishing a plant in Uganda. This will help in reducing the costs of importing these bikes hence increasing acquisition of their products by Ugandans.
