Kampala International University Climaxes a three day Mass Covid-19 Vaccination Campaign at their Main Campus in Kansanga.

A total 1316 people have been vaccinated in this campaign that has run from (Tuesday 23rd to Thursday, 25th November 202).

This followed Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mouhamad Mpezamihigo  Speech at the KIU 24th graduation ceremony on 20th November 2021 that the University in partnership with KCCA would hold a mass Covid-19 vaccination exercise at the Main Campus for students, staff and the neighboring community.

He said that the University is doing everything to abide by the Covid-19 government regulations part of which necessitates the vaccination of the masses.

Below are the results recorded for the entire Vaccination process.

 Day 1.

Vaccine.               People vaccinated.

AstraZeneca:        356 people.

Pfizer:                    60 people.

SinoVac:               25people.

Total:                     441 People vaccinated.

 

Day 2.

Vaccine.               People vaccinated.

AstraZeneca:

First Jab:                   314 people.

Second:                    16 people.

Pfizer     :                    78 people.

SinoVac:                    17 people.

Total:                           425 People vaccinated.

 

Day 3.

Vaccine.                    People vaccinated.

AstraZeneca

First Jab:                      361 people.

Second   :                    19 people.

Pfizer

First jab:                        5 people.

Second   :                     55 people.

SinoVac:                       10 people.

Total:          450 People vaccinated.

Grand Total: 1316 students, Staff and Community Vaccinated.
