FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Qualifiers: Uganda Cranes Vs Kenya Harambee Stars

Thursday 11th November 2021- St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende ( 4PM)

With a few days to the do or die FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Qualifier match against neighbours Kenya, the Uganda Cranes had no time to waste after the game against the Northern Region Select.

The team gathered immediately after return from Kitgum for camp at the Cranes Paradise Hotel in Kisaasi.

On Saturday, the first training session was conducted in the evening at the Omondi Stadium in Lugogo with  twenty six players attending the session under the supervision of Serbian tactician Sredojevic ‘Micho’ Milutin, his assistant Moses Basena  and the goalkeepers’ under Fred Kajoba.

After the training session, Micho addressed the media and he asked for every stakeholders’ support because there is alot at stake.

‘We need to take every match as it is and we are now focusing on the game against Kenya. They will come with pride and ready to spoil the party like they have done before against the Cranes. We are preparing ourselves in the best way possible.We only ask for support from every stakeholder’ revealed Micho.
