During this online press conference, journalist will an interactive platform to find out about the Forum and its objectives

NAIROBI, Kenya, October 11, 2021/ — Ahead of the Africa Land Forum, the International Land Coalition (https://bit.ly/3BAx6Ny) will hold an online press conference to demonstrate how the Africa Land Forum 2021 will provide the needed space for land users, local communities, Indigenous Peoples, women, youth, policymakers, and various development actors to connect actors and mobilize resources for multi-actor partnerships on land rights and secure land tenure for achieving the SDGs in Africa.

ILC Africa (https://bit.ly/3mJyWoX) is a Regional Platform of the International Land Coalition (ILC), a global alliance of civil society and intergovernmental organisations working together to promote secure and equitable access to and control over land for poor women and men.

The shared goal of ILC’s over 250 members is to realise land governance for and with people at the country level, responding to the needs and protecting the rights of women, men and communities who live on and from the land.

During this online press conference, journalist will an interactive platform to find out about the Forum and its objectives, ILC Africa’s broader impact as a platform, and its future perspectives in addressing COVID-19’s impact on land tenure.
