ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski has reportedly been suspended without pay by ESPN for saying “f--- you” to Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley in an email. Hawley had sent a letter to NBA commissioner Adam Silver, complaining about the social justice messages NBA players are allowed to wear on the back of their jerseys, and Woj was responding to a press release Hawley’s office had sent to him.
Woj apologized publicly and to his ESPN colleagues, but it doesn’t appear that’s had an effect on his suspension (which ESPN has yet to confirm or comment on). So NBA players have taken up the cause.
After the news of Woj’s suspension broke on Saturday night, NBA players (both in the bubble and beyond) started tweeting the #FreeWoj hashtag on Twitter to support the veteran NBA reporter.

Christopher Buckley’s new novel “Make Russia Great Again” is a rollicking satire of Donald Trump’s White House — and of a president whom Buckley told Yahoo News must not be reelected or “we’re all going to be sitting in lifeboats.”
“It’s not really very funny when you think about it,” Buckley said during a Friday interview on the Yahoo News “Skullduggery” podcast. “If he gets another four years, I don’t think satire’s going to be possible.”
Buckley’s book hits stores on July 14 and follows the success of earlier books like “Thank You for Smoking,” (2010) a send-up of the tobacco industry and political correctness. This latest effort skewers the Trump administration and its various enablers, including a South Carolina senator modeled after Lindsey Graham named Squigg Lee Biskitt “who...

It's unclear whether he's consulted with his friend Donald Trump, but rapper Kanye West has announced he's ready to unseat the Republican president.
"We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future," West wrote on Twitter Saturday evening. "I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION"
It's not apparent how serious he is about running, but it seems unlikely the polarizing entertainer could actually unseat Trump. It's probably more likely he could use a little publicity for his upcoming album, "God's Country," and its first single, "Wash Us in the Blood," which was released earlier this week.
But Trump himself was a reality TV star and former President Ronald Reagan of course made his name as a ...

The Ministry of Health has this Sunday afternoon released a three page media statement responding to “black mail” by Bad Black aka Shanita Namuyimbwa who yesterday recorded messages threatening to sue government unless the MoH pays her Shs500m. She says this demand is in respect of the COVID19-related audio and video message she recorded last month communicating the risk associated with reckless behavior among sex workers. Her message, that was for weeks aired on Radios and TVs, clearly targeted prostitutes and sex workers (the Ministry curiously calls them her colleagues) who were a high risk group that were being urged to shun truck drivers amongst whom COVID19 cases were rampant until recently.
The Ministry says they never contracted Ms Black whose message even ceased to be relevant...
