Oleksandr Usyk receives second WBN Fighter of the Year Trophy.

Oleksandr Usyk took a short trip to London loaded with prizes as the pound for pound king picked up his WBN Fighter of the Year Award.

WBN handed the trophy to Usyk for the second time at the Four Seasons Hotel on Park Lane, near the world-famous Hyde Park. Usyk posed for pictures as he grabbed the keepsake for the second time in three years. ‘Mr. I am Very Feel’ gave a two-fingered salute to the camera as he signified his two victories.

After winning the World Boxing News gong, Usyk claimed the Ring Magazine Award for the same honor. As with the WBN Awards, Usyk won Fight of the Year recognition for his first bout against Tyson Fury.

Addressing his followers after an eventful evening, Usyk said, “Thank you very much. Thanks to my family, my team, His Excellency, and Tyson Fury. You often ask me about my goals in boxing. I want to inspire people to help each other.

“This is my message to the boxing community: help. Share what the Lord gives you, and he will give you more!”

Usyk was coy about his future despite the media’s attempts to gain some insight into whether the two-weight undisputed champion will remain at heavyweight, retire, or move down in weight.

WBN has repeatedly reported that Usyk has many options, including at bridgerweight, Badou Jack at cruiserweight, and Deontay Wilder in the top division.

The Ukrainian superstar is expected to decide in the spring after thoroughly enjoying the fruits of his labor. Usyk has already put on significant weight and seems to be doing just that.
