Uganda’s Speaker of Parliament Rt.Hon. Anita Among has called on East African parliamentarians to champion the promotion of indigenous foods as a sustainable solution to climate change and food insecurity.
Her remarks were presented by Robinah Rwakoojo, MP for Gomba West who represented her as the guest speaker yesterday at the 6th Annual General Assembly of the Eastern Africa Parliamentary Alliance for Food Security and Nutrition organised by Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), held at Speke Resort Munyonyo.
