Marseille’s Mason Greenwood shakes off PSG disaster as ex-Man Utd man bags winning goal to down Nantes in Ligue 1.
Mason Greenwood found his scoring boots against Nantes after a forgetful outing against PSG last week.
WHAT HAPPENED?
The ex-Manchester United star scored the winning goal with a stunning finish from the edge of the box just after the hour mark as Marseille edged out Nantes 2-1 in a Ligue 1 clash on Sunday. The French press had battered Greenwood after his abysmal outing against Paris Saint-Germain last week which saw Roberto De Zerbi’s side lose 3-0, however, the winger quickly regained his form.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
This was the 23-year-old’s seventh goal of the season, which he scored in just 10 league outings. He is now Ligue 1’s joint second-highest goalscorer, along with Lille and Canadian forward Jonathan David.
