Beyoncé’s birthday look reminded us all that she’s still that girl.
Days after celebrating her 43rd trip around the sun on September 4, the superstar shared photos from her big day with her 316 million followers on Instagram, snapped at what appears to be a luxe tropical destination.
She blended in with her lushly vegetated surroundings in a vibrant green look. This included a sleeveless bodycon top and a ruffled mesh miniskirt, both emblazoned with multi-tone brown and green patterns signature to Emilio Pucci’s psychedelic designs. She continued to hone in on that theme with other green elements from Pucci, like a pair of black stilettos with tubular lime green straps and a triangular silk scarf that she wrapped around her head.
The Grammy winner finished off her look with more one-of-a-kind accessories. She added feathered opera gloves made of a light green mesh, then rotated her eyewear between a sculptural pair of Gucci sunglasses and large shield shades by Blumarine. In a few photos, she also posed with a neon green raffia tote bag by Loewe.
“I’m so grateful for another year,” Beyoncé wrote in the caption. “Thank you for the loving birthday wishes. 🙏🏾🐝”
This isn’t the first time in recent months that Beyoncé has shown some love for Pucci. Back in August, she stepped out in New York donning a similarly green and brown ensemble, although the psychedelic pattern came in the form of high-rise pants. She paired the statement bottoms with a matching bag and head scarf, as well as a black top and a black blazer.
