Red Bull Salzburg has signed teenager Bobby Clark from Liverpool for a fee of £10 million. The former Newcastle academy product, Clark, made his breakthrough the previous season and thrived despite an injury issue. He participated in the Carabao Cup final victory at Wembley. However, the 19-year-old has now relocated to Austria after the club’s third bid was accepted.
In the agreement, Liverpool will have matching rights, which means they can match any future bids made for Clark, in addition to a 17.5% sell-on clause.
