WHAT HAPPENED?
The Real Madrid midfielder has been announced as the front man of a new Louis Vuitton campaign, having been signed up to the iconic fashion house by music megastar Pharrell Williams. Bellingham joins the fashion company as a “Friend of the House who captures this uniquely cultivated spirit of individuals who are champions in their field and beyond”.
WHAT PHARRELL WILLIAMS SAID
On their Instagram page, Louis Vuitton wrote: “I’m excited to welcome Jude to the House, his charismatic personality and what he has already achieved in his inspiring journey will add so much to our LVers community.”
THE GOSSIP
Bellingham has already signed with adidas but their main competition, Nike, are apparently keen to sign the England international, and the sportswear giants have a plan to make him as big as basketball legend Michael Jordan.
WHAT NEXT?
Real Madrid play Mallorca in La Liga this weekend and Bellingham will turn his attentions to matters on the pitch, as the club begin their title defence. The former Birmingham City midfielder will be hoping his latest venture into the fashion world won’t upset his team-mates, with some of his England colleagues reportedly unhappy with the ‘Hey Jude’ adidas advert that was released during Euro 2024.
