Leaked images reveal extensive destruction at the Morozovsk airfield in Rostov Region, Russia, showing dozens of exploded FAB-100-120, FAB-250, KAB-500, and KAB-1500 air bombs, along with R-73 air-to-air missiles.
Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence Directorate (GUR) confirms that the attack led to secondary detonations, causing widespread damage.
Satellite images display scorched earth surrounding the depot, with four technical buildings and two hangars severely affected.
Additionally, GUR stated that a Su-34 fighter-bomber was destroyed, and the blasts likely damaged two more aircraft.
The airfield, located 265 kilometers from the front line, has been a significant target for Ukrainian forces. This strike is part of Ukraine’s broader strategy to disrupt Russian military logistics and diminish their aerial capabilities.
