MANCHESTER WORLD
There is more worrying injury news for Man Utd after their 3-2 win over Real Betis in pre-season.

Manchester United were handed a double injury scare in their 3-2 win over Real Betis in pre-season.

It had already been confirmed ahead of the match United would be without Leny Yoro for three months and Rasmus Hojlund for six weeks, before they suffered another set of scares in San Diego.

Marcus Rashord limped out of the match twenty minutes into the second-half, while Antony only last twenty minutes himself before he was replaced by Sam Mather in the closing stages of the game.

The United attacking duo both looked to be in some real discomfort when they exited the field of play, with Erik ten Hag expected to issue updates on the players in the coming hours. In positive news, Rashford was wearing club training gear and appeared to be in good spirits as the United players celebrated with the Snapdragon Cup at full-time, though there was no sign of Antony after his late withdrawal.

Rashford had levelled the scoring for United just three minutes after they fell behind to Betis in San Diego, before Amad and Casemiro scored to give them a 3-1 lead at the break. The La Liga side dominated the match after United made wholesale changes in the second-half, with Diego Llorente grabbing a goal back for Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

United are back in pre-season action when they face Liverpool at the weekend, before they face Man City in the Community Shield at Wembley a week on Saturday.
