The public service leaders’ introspection retreat of Ministers, Permanent Secretaries and Members of the NRM top leadership has commenced today at the National Leadership Institute (NALI) in Kyankwanzi.
The (7) day residential Retreat will run under the theme; *Answering the Citizens’ call: Improved service delivery for social economic transformation.*
The President of the Republic of Uganda, His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will officially flag off the Retreat and deliver the keynote address on *NRM’s Commitment to Improve the Quality of Life for Ugandans.
* The leaders who include Cabinet Ministers and Permanent Secretaries started the week-long Retreat with a session on Leadership, Personality and Mindset Change.
The Judiciary Permanent Secretary/Secretary to the Judiciary, Dr Pius Bigirimana will in the course of the Retreat make a presentation on the *Role of the Administration Function in the Management of Public Service.* He will also co-chair the session that will consider the resolutions arrived at, at the Retreat.
Later this week, the Chief Justice, Justice Alfonse Chigamoy Owiny – Dollo, is expected to deliver a presentation on *Strategies in the Judiciary to Address Public Concerns.
