The Democratic Party has sworn in the interim leaders to take the party through the ongoing member registration within the five divisions of Kampala.
According to tDP Secretary General Gerald Siranda, each constituency is to have two delegates, female and male prioritizing to scrutinise and identify genuine party members so as to rid of the divisionism with in the party.
Siranda as well tasked the leaders to protect the party from its enemies especially those with in the party.
The national vice president of the Democratic Party, Mukasa Mbidde, advised the leaders to be loyal to their positions as well as practicing allegiances of the party.
In response, the leader of the parallel group in denial of the leadership of Norbert Mao as the president of the Democratic Party, Bayigga Lulume says the swearing in of interim leaders is all an act of chasing clout as the final decision on the leadership is yet to be decided by courts of law.
