The Chairman of BCU and Member of Parliament for Budadiri West in Sironko District Mr.Nathan Nandala Mafabi, paid a courtesy visit on Saturday to check on the participants of the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) training of the supervisors and enumerators at Naomi Elgon Hill Hotel in Buwalasi-Parto, located along Namagumba – Budadiri Road, opposite Buwalasi Sub County in Sironko District.
The trainees are from the sub-counties of Buwalasi, Bubbeza, Busamaga Dahami, and Kama Town Council.
The area MP, accompanied by the Sironko district LCV chairman David Livingstone Giruli, commended Herbert Kidiya, the director of Naomi Elgon Hill Hotel, for his efforts in establishing this fine facility, which benefits the community.
Nandala said, “I grew up knowing Counsel Kidiya as a good man and now a professional lawyer who associates with prominent people in the country; he’s a blessing in Buwalasi.
During his tour, he offered ten thousand shillings, to each participant for evening tea.
