Liverpool’s title hopes took another hit as they were held to a 2-2 draw by West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday.
The Reds made a brighter start than in their dismal midweek Merseyside derby defeat, but failed to make the most of their chances and were punished two minutes before half time when Jarrod Bowen put the hosts in front.
Jurgen Klopp was involved in a touchline row with Mohamed Salah during Liverpool’s Premier League 2-2 draw with West Ham on Saturday.
Salah started on the bench for Liverpool’s trip to the London Stadium, with Klopp opting to start Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo and Harvey Elliott in attack.
The Egypt international was brought on with 11 minutes remaining, just moments after Michail Antonio headed in a cross from Jarrod Bowen to equalise for West Ham.
But Liverpool hit back after the break, with Andy Roberton pulling them level before Cody Gakpo‘s shot took multiple deflections and found a way past Alphonse Areola to complete the comeback. But as he prepared to be introduced to the game, Salah reacted angrily to a brief word he received from Klopp on the touchline.

But just as it looked like Liverpool were gaining control, Michail Antonio earned West Ham a point as he netted 13 minutes from time.
