The Party has today evening hosted the Muslims and the people of Arua City to a Sumptuous Iftar Dinner at Arua Primary School play Grounds.
Sheikh Juruga abdul Rahim the lecturer at Islamic University In Uganda (IUIU) Arua Campus who is also the former Bushenyi District Khadhi led the Muslim faithfuls and the congregation in prayers.
Mr. Mulindwa Walid Lubega the FDC Deputy Secretary for Publicity in charge of Publication and Documentation represented the Party President Hon. Eng. Patrick Oboi Amuriat and the Secretary General Hon. Nathan Nandala Mafabi.
For the last 13 years, the Party has been annually congregating at the Party National Headquarters – Najjanankumbi to stand in solidarity with the Muslim community in honouring the Holly month of Ramadan.
This time round, the Party’s top leadership decided to bring the Iftar Dinner to West Nile to connect with our people there.
We thank the Party leadership in West Nile led by Arua City branch Chairman Hajji Moli Abdul Hakim, Sheikh Hilal Nassim and Hon. Muzaid Khemis the Arua Central Division Mayor for the splendid coordination and organising this event.
