Congratulations #Kampala for scooping the Shanghai Award! The inaugural Global Award for Sustainable Development in Cities, also known as the “Shanghai Award” recognizes the effort of cities and municipalities in fulfilling sustainable development commitments.
The other cities awarded were Salvador in Brazil, Brisbane in Australia, George Town in Penang of Malaysia, and China’s southeast Fuzhou City.
