Manchester United have unveiled the signing of striker Rasmus Hojland from Atalanta.

The Red Devils agreed a deal worth £72million to sign the highly-rated 20-year-old.

Ahead of the pre-season friendly against Lens at Old Trafford on Saturday, United teased the announced on Twitter with a blurry video of Hojlund donning a Red Devils shirt.

Moments later, the Denmark international was presented to fans on the pitch.

Hojlund takes United’s spending over £150m following the arrivals of Mason Mount and Andre Onana.

He said: “It is no secret that I have been a fan of this great club since I was a small boy, and I dreamed of walking out at Old Trafford as a Manchester United player.

Hojlund scored nine goals in 32 Serie A appearances after signing for Atalanta in 2022 – and has six in as many games for his country.

United fended off interest from French champions Paris Saint-Germain to sign the former Copenhagen and Sturm Graz star.
