Safaricom Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Peter Ndegwa has received a compensation of up to 8.3% in the financial year ending March 2023.
Ndegwa, who was appointed as the leading telecommunications firm’s top executive for a period of three years, bagged KSh 313.11 million, compared to KSh 288.93 million received in 2022.
The CEO received KSh 95.24 million in annual salary plus 196.27 million in bonuses and non-cash benefits amounting to KSh 21.6 million.
