Actor Song Joong-ki has become the father of a boy.
The heartthrob posted a message with a photo of his baby on a fan website on Wednesday, saying his British wife Katy Louise Saunders gave birth to the baby in Italy.
“I finally met my baby in my wife’s hometown, Rome,” he wrote. “He is the most precious present to our couple, whose biggest dream is to make a happy family.”
Song announced his marriage to Saunders, a fellow actress, and her pregnancy in January.
The actor was invited to the Cannes Film Festival last month with his latest movie “Hopeless.” He attended the festival with his wife and the couple flew to Italy afterward to prepare for the birth.
Another movie he stars in called “Bogota” will hit theaters here later this year.
