 KCCA is holding its annual suppliers conference where management interfaces with the suppliers of goods and other development partners to listen, evaluate performance, and plan steps forward
KCCA as an entity has fully adopted the online system of procurement, EGP. KCCA has taken lead to pilot the EGP online procurement which makes it completely transparent to all service providers.

 This year’s annual suppliers conference ìs focusing on the recent amendment of the PPDA Act, which took place in 2021. This is in compliance with the requirements of the National Public Sector Procurement Policy, NPSPP.

 The ongoing efforts to totally eradicate corruption and promote an open, transparent, and trustworthy procurement regime, require that we adopt technology in service delivery and promote integrity in our institutions

KCCA suppliers conference has been closed by the Minister of state for Kampala, and metropolitan affairs, Hon. Kyofatogabye, with a call to the World Bank and African Development Bank to include the requirement of using at least 30% local content when procuring contractors for city roads.
