Manchester United’s winning run is officially over.
Going into their match with Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening, Erik ten Hag’s side had won nine on the bounce in all competitions.
Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise scored a stunning last-minute free-kick to deny Manchester United a victory that would have taken them second in the Premier League.
And it looked for all the world that the Red Devils would make it 10 at Selhurst Park.
Going into the 90th minute of proceedings, United were 1-0 ahead thanks to Bruno Fernandes’ brilliant strike.
The Portuguese was found in the box by Christian Eriksen and then finished emphatically.
But the goal didn’t prove to be the winner in south east London.
In the first minute of stoppage-time, Palace star Michael Olise stepped up and scored one of the best free-kicks of the 2022/23 season to level things at 1-1.
It was ice-cold from a bona fide baller and amazingly, he barely celebrated the wonder-goal.

Wow!
The goal came around 10 minutes after Casemiro picked up a yellow card, which means he will now be suspended for the weekend’s trip to Arsenal.
When it rains, it pours for United.
