Brighton forward Leandro Trossard has been dropped from first-team training amid interest from Tottenham and Arsenal, according to reports.
The Belgium international has been in outstanding form for the Seagulls this term with the 27-year-old contributing seven goals and two assists in 16 Premier League matches.
That has led to speculation that Tottenham, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are all interested in signing the Brighton attacker in the winter window.
However, a recent report narrowed it down to just the two north London rivals with Spurs’ interest ‘genuine’ while Arsenal are ‘monitoring developments’.
It is understood that Liverpool and Man Utd became ‘irritated’ by how much information was being leaked about their interest and Tottenham are understood to have now made a ‘verbal offer’.
And now the Daily Mail are reporting that Trossard’s ‘future is under growing uncertainty’ with his potential involvement in Saturday’s match against Liverpool now ‘in doubt’.

De Zerbi confirmed that the Belgian is not available for selection, saying: “Leandro Trossard isn’t on the list for next game. The last session before last game, when he understood he wasn’t playing, he left the session without telling me anything. I told him I don’t like this attitude.”
Speaking back in September, Trossard revealed that he wants “to go” if a good opportunity “arises” in the January transfer window.
Trossard told Het Nieuwsblad: “Our coach did leave for Chelsea now but speculation about me following him makes no sense.
“If the opportunity arises, I want to go. But I want to play and not sit on the bench.”
When De Zerbi was asked by The Athletic last week if speculation was affecting Trossard, the Brighton boss replied: “I don’t know. I think he’s one of the best players for us and one of the most important players for us.
“I’d like to always play with Leo in the first eleven, but it doesn’t depend only on me, it depends on Leo.
“I don’t know, but with me I want players that work for the team on the pitch and Leandro knows very well my opinion, my idea. I’ve spoken a lot of times with him.
“I like him as a player, but I want more from him, because he can play better, he can work harder, he can run more on the pitch and I want players who give 100 per cent in every training session and every game.
