Uganda’s President Museveni has donated a brand new car to the Supreme Mufti Sheik Muhammed Galabuzi.
The brand new Pajero Sport was handed over to Sheik Galabuzi by the Prime Minister of Uganda Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah at Kibuli Mosque in Kampala on Friday.
The donation is in fulfilment of a pledge made by Nabbanja on behalf of government during a thanksgiving ceremony for the Supreme Mufti on 06th march 2022. The premier also fulfilled a pledge of 10million shillings as her contribution towards development Projects at the mosque.
She noted that the car is intended to reinforce mobilisation efforts by the Mufti amongst his subjects on government Programmes.
The second Deputy Prime Minister Moses Ali, Minister for Kampala Minsa Kabanda, Chairperson Women Council Faridah Kimbowa, Prince Kasim Nakibinge Titicular head of the Muslim community in Uganda graced the occasion among others.
