Fred Mudoola has been appointed the head coach of Rugby Cranes coach.
Mudoola, a former Rugby Cranes and Kobs prop, takes over from Brian Makalama and Robert Musinguzi who have been in charge of the team in the interim.
The duo took the Rugby Cranes through the Africa Rugby Cup group stage hosted at Kyadondo last year where the team won once and lost as many.
“I will work hard to make sure I meet the targets set and make sure Ugandans are happy again,” Mudoola said in a brief interview with URU Media.
The first task for the 2007 African champion will be to prepare the side to play Kenya in the quarterfinal of the Africa Rugby Cup in France in July.
