A family in Saos village, Eldama Ravine, Baringo county, is grieving the loss of their beloved son, Brian Kiplagat Rotich Kuto.

Kiplagat was the firstborn of former Ossen Girls High School principal Rosemary Kuto and Gideon Kuto of Tinet Secondary School.

How did Brian Kiplagat Kuto die?

The young man passed away on November 25 while receiving treatment at Top Hill Hospital in Eldoret.

Reports indicate that the young man suffered a cardiac arrest, which led to his sudden demise.

Kiplagat had just completed his law studies at Moi University and was eagerly awaiting his graduation, which was scheduled for December 18.

When will Brian Kiplagat Rotich Kuto student be buried?

His funeral is set to take place on Friday, December 5, at the family home in Saos, Eldama Ravine. The family has also organised a fundraiser to help cover his hospital and funeral expenses.

The fundraiser will be held over two days: Tuesday, December 2, in Saos, and Wednesday, December 3, at the family residence in Milimani Estate.

How did Cooperative University student die?

In other news, TUKO.co.ke reported that a student at Cooperative University in Karen passed away while going to pick up his graduation gown.

Vince Otieno was picked up near Kenyatta Hospital by a friend who was dropping him off at school when tragedy struck.

The two were driving around 7 p.m. when they reached a diversion, and a speeding pick-up truck hit them on the side, killing the graduand instantly.
