Friendly Senegal humiliate Kenya’s McCarthy in heavy friendly defeat

Kenya’s national football team Harambee Stars suffered a devastating 8-0 defeat against Senegal in a highly competitive international friendly played in Turkey.

On loan Chelsea star at Bayern Munich, Nicolas Jackson scored twice, in between a goal from West Ham fullback Malick Diouf. Mane then got into the action after he was released through on goal to score his side’s fourth of the contest.

Baron Ochieng gave away a penalty, allowing Mane to score his second and Senegal’s fifth in the 31st minute. Mane completed his hat-trick in the 35th minute. Jackson had the ball in the back of the net for the seventh goal, but it was disallowed for a foul in the build-up.

In the second half, Thiaw took out Mané, Pape Gueye, and Mamadou Sarr and brought on Lamine Camara, Rassoul Ndiaye, and Boulaye Dia in their place.

In the 48th minute, they picked up from where they left off with PSG star Ibrahim Mbaye opening his goal account for Senegal on his first full start. Cherif Ndiaye scored the eighth goal from the spot in the 80th minute.
