Ouedraogo made sure to score after receiving a pass from Leroy Sané, Ouedraogo was born in Germany but has roots in Burkina Faso.
He had the option of representing either Germany or Burkina Faso.

At 19 years and 192 days, Ouedraogo is the youngest goalscorer to make his debut for Germany since Klaus Stürmer. Stürmer scored in his first international match in October 1954 at the age of 19 years and 68 days.
