Yesterday, August 28, 2025, Lt Gen James Mugira, Managing Director of the National Enterprise Corporation (NEC), conducted an inspection visit to the ongoing construction of the Lira University Teaching Hospital Administration Block in Lira City.

 The project is being undertaken by NEC Construction Works and Engineering Ltd (NEC Works), a subsidiary of NEC. The tour was led by Eng Brian Buhanda, General Manager of NEC Works, and accompanied by senior NEC officials, including Maj Gen Sabiiti Muzeyi, General Manager of Luwero Industries Ltd, Eng Simon Terwane, General Manager of NEC Agro Ltd, and Maj Edgar Ankwasa, General Manager NEC Uzima Ltd among others.
