The initiative, known as the NRM Winners Development Group, was officially launched in Mukono under the leadership of Chairman Sserubiri Frank of ARDC Gomba, who reaffirmed the group’s commitment to advancing the NRM’s political and development agenda.

Speaking at the launch, Chairman Sserubiri pledged that the Winners Development Group would not only mobilize support for the ruling party but also link communities directly with the President to foster inclusive development. He emphasized that the group would serve as a platform to rally behind President Museveni, whom he described as the “cornerstone of Uganda’s stability and progress.”
