Robber Shot Dead as Armed Gang Robs Kyotera Coffee Factory of Shs50m.

 

Police in Kyotera have launched a manhunt after a gang of armed robbers attacked a local coffee factory, shot the manager, and made off with Shs50 million. One suspect was shot dead in a firefight with security forces.

Police in the Greater Masaka district of Kyotera have confirmed the fatal shooting of a robber in a shootouts following a violent robbery at Mazima Bugagga coffee factory in Kabira-Kifuuta village.

The incident occurred when a group of five armed men stormed the factory, owned by prominent businessman Ronald Lubega, also known as Naadi.

The attackers reportedly shot the factory manager and made off with Shs50 million in cash.

Police responded swiftly and tracked the suspects to Kizigo area, where a shootout ensued.
