IRAN LAUNCHES NEW MISSILE STRIKE ON ISRAEL
Iran launched a new missile strike against Israel, prompting the Israeli military to order citizens into shelters after detecting the incoming attack.
Sirens are sounding across central Israel and the Jerusalem area following a ballistic missile barrage from Iran.
The IDF says it is working to shoot down the missiles. Civilians in areas where sirens are sounding are instructed to remain in bomb shelters until further notice.
The latest missile barrage comes as Israeli forces struck Tehran’s police headquarters and launched intense attacks on five Iranian cities Sunday evening.
Iran has been conducting missile retaliation since Israeli strikes began on Friday, launching multiple waves in “True Promise 3” operation.
Israeli forces hit Tehran, Karaj, Isfahan, Shiraz and Kermanshah with multiple locations in the capital targeted, including police facilities.
Videos showed tall columns of smoke rising from many parts of Tehran as areas including Valiasr Street and Niavaran were struck.
Iran’s Health Ministry reported 128 deaths and over 900 injured from Israeli strikes since Friday
