Breaking News!! Another YY Coach Involved in A Road Crash Around Karuma Junction

Reports indicate that another YY Coach bus, operated by YY Bus Company, was involved in an accident earlier today, just a few kilometers past Karuma Junction.
Several passengers sustained injuries, while others were left severely traumatized.

A passenger bus belonging to the well-known YY Bus Company was involved in a terrible accident earlier today just a few kilometers after Karuma Junction in Uganda.

According to early information, the bus went off the road and crashed. Many passengers were injured, and others were left badly shaken by the incident. Some witnesses who were at the scene said that the bus seemed to be moving very fast before it lost control. It then veered off the road and crashed, causing chaos among the passengers.

Emergency services responded quickly. Ambulances and rescue teams arrived and helped the injured passengers. They gave first aid and took several people to nearby hospitals for further treatment. Some of the passengers stayed at the scene, looking scared but grateful to have survived.

The bus was traveling from Kampala to northern Uganda. It had many people on board, including women, children, and elderly passengers. Many of them were heading home after spending the weekend in the city.

Survivors described the accident as terrifying. One passenger, who had a small head injury, told reporters, “I thought I was going to die. People were screaming, some were bleeding. It felt like a nightmare.”

This is not the first time a YY Coach has been involved in a road accident. In the past, the company has been criticized for issues such as overspeeding and not following road safety rules properly. The latest crash is likely to raise new concerns about the safety of public transport in Uganda.

Police officers and traffic investigators are already at the scene, trying to find out what exactly caused the crash. The Uganda Police Force has reminded all drivers to be very careful, especially during the rainy season when roads become slippery and it’s harder to see clearly.

As of now, there have been no deaths reported, but the full number of people who were injured is still not known. The damaged bus has been taken to a nearby police station for further examination.

Families and friends of the passengers have been advised to contact local hospitals or reach out to YY Bus Company for updates about their loved ones.

We wish a speedy recovery to everyone who was injured and hope that this incident leads to stronger enforcement of road safety rules to protect passengers in the future.
