Namisindwa, Uganda: A section of former parliamentary aspirants from Namisindwa County and Bubulo East have declared their support for Bwayo Emma’s bid for the Namisindwa LCV Chairperson seat, positioning him as the most experienced and unifying candidate for the district’s top political office.
Speaking during the burial of Kalenda Lydia Namanda, stepmother to Mbale RCC George William Wopuwa, in Buwambwa, former Namisindwa County MP aspirant Kutosi Rogers publicly backed Bwayo, praising his leadership track record and connection with the people.
Kutosi said the rotational leadership principle among the district’s major clans had been respected, and expressed confidence that Bwayo would deliver. “This is the right person for this term,” she said, urging the public to consolidate their support behind Bwayo.
“He has the experience, capacity, and understanding of our district’s needs.”
Former Bubulo East MP aspirant Amos Masibo echoed the endorsement, calling for fresh alliances and leadership rooted in humility and foresight.
Masibo described Bwayo as a strategic leader with a wide network of influence that could uplift Namisindwa District’s service delivery and administration.
Bwayo Emma, who attended the same function, thanked the public for entrusting him with the NRM flag for the LCV race. He encouraged continued unity among the electorate as the general elections approach, and pledged to serve with integrity and accountability if elected.
“I thank you for the trust. Let us maintain unity and peace as we approach the January polls,” Bwayo said. “May God grant us life and wisdom to choose the right leaders.”
