CHAN CHAN 2024: Uganda Cranes confirm squad for pre-CHAN tournament.
Morley Byekwaso and Fred Muhumuza have named a 26-man squad for the forthcoming Pre-Chan four nations tournament due in Arusha.
NEC’s duo of Shamir Kimwero and Hannington Ssebwalunyo as well as Kitara’s defender Ronald Otti have been dropped.
The squad, first reduced from 41-man squad will further be reduced by at least one more player for the final tournament which kicks off on August 2.
The Four-Nation tournament will have co-hosts Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania and defending champions Senegal which replaced Congo and will be played on July 21 – 27 in a round robin.
